First Tuesday class for 2010 with 11 participants and not one Nikon to be seen! I was somewhat relieved to see that two of the DSLR’s were Fujicas built on Nikon bodies.
Saturday class produced 2 new Nikon D90’s and 2 Olympus DSLR’s – the rest being Canon’s.

There is nothing wrong with the images that Canon’s produce it is the usability compared to the Nikon – it is a real pain having to look back at the rear LCD screen in order to adjust settings.

In my new DSLR photography course (2 classes 20 participants) there are 15 Canons! Mostly 350 and 450D’s. I put this down to Canon’s agressive marketing capaigns where they basically give away one additional zoom lens. Although they are great cameras their user interface leaves a lot to be desired.
